Spring Ready Skin

I feel like spring invented flawless and luminous skin. Maybe it's because flowers begin to blossom again and you want your skin to look like a fresh rose petal itself. Anyway, I find a natural glowy complexion essential for a spring and easter look and as a funny coincidence all the products I use to achieve that look happened to be pink and made for a gorgeous flatlay. Who knew?

Starting off with prepping the skin I always gravitade back towards trusty old Clinque moisture surge. I haven't found a better moisturizer yet. For spring you can probably switch from Intense Thirst Relief to the normal version but if you have very dry skin you better stick with the extreme one.

The L'Oreal Cushion Foundation I've never talked about before but I feel like it deserves a mention especially as cushion products are all the rage right now. If you apply this with a Beauty Blender or the Real Techniques Complexion Sponge your skin will still look like your skin, only better. You can barely detect the foundation on your skin and it looks super natural and gourgeous. The only thing I don't like about this is that it has a quite alcoholic scent to it. Not sure why that is but it's a bit unpleasant when applying. In contrast to that is doesn't dry out your skin at all and translucent powder is advisable if you have oily skin.

I can't believe how much I talked about this product already but the L'Oreal True Match Highlighter simply is the best and most natural looking drugstore highlighter out there and I love it.

To top all of this off and set it into place I trust my Body Shop Vitamin E Face Spray which essentially is a rose water and makes every powdery foundation look dewy and natural again.

What do you do to make your skin look good for spring?

xx Laura
