Perfect Off-Duty Skin

On Sundays I hardly ever wear make up simply due to lack of plans and motivation to leave my couch. But frome time to time, when I have some plans or am puttering around the house and need a bit of a fresh start in the morning to get going I will try to do the max of appearance improvement with a minimum of effort. When I'm forgoing foundation and heavy make up I try to make my skin look it's best as it's then the focal point of my face.
Glowing skin can make all the difference when it comes to looking more alive and put together. Since I'm naturally very pale I hardly ever wake up without looking just a little bit dead. Bags under the eyes, redness, dullness, veins and blemishes all come even more apparent on super pale skin.

I start with washing my face (obvs). I've recently been trying the Burt's Bees Radiance Facial Cleanser since my skin has become noticeably drier from this unbearable cold (can we talk about this weather situation btw?) and needed a hydration pick-me-up. The cleanser is very gentle and smells lovely. From my first few times tyring it I can defenitively tell that it nourishes the skin and washes the morning dullness away.

For that extra kick of hydration I then spray the Caudalie Beauty Elixir on my face and apply the Origins GinZing Moisturizer while my skin is still damp. Apparently skin locks moisture easier when it's wet.

To give my skin a final something-something I apply the Origins GinZing Tinted Moisturizer which I have been wearing basically everyday since I got it last week and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. This stuff makes all the difference for me in terms of looking dead vs. alive. It gives the slightest, but definitively noticeable wash of colour to the skin but is completely, and I mean COMPLETELY, undetectable on it. You could never tell that I have a tinted product on my face but the skin looks more alive, dewy and smooth once I put this on. Can I just say: Obsessed!

For a sunday or a day off that completes all the steps but if I'm having some minor plans or have to run errands I will spot-conceal with my fingers wherever I need it and put on some brows, bronzer and highlighter. For this I recommend checking out the Catrice Wet-Look Stick which gives the prettiest natural, dewy highlight. And I bet every single Glossier product would look good with this as well (not that I would know because Glossier probably won't be available in Germany for the next decade *crying face*).
